iDwala was awarded the detailed design and specification tender of two new outdoor communitymultisport courts for Mitchell Shire Council at the L.B. Davern Reserve in Wandong, Victoria. The courts were designed and engineered to meet the strict requirements of both Netball and TennisVictoria, whilst promoting safety, playability and accessibility to community user groups.

The site’s custom made design included the establishment of a new concrete pavement, a new drainagedesign, fencing, upgraded electrical and lighting systems, all of which would work seamlessly and complement the new surrounding pathways and landscaping Council had envisioned.

iDwala was also responsible for assisting Council with the management and supervision of the quality / hold point inspections throughout the contract along with the provision of technical advice and recommendations relating to the construction phase.

Armed with both exceptional construction and design knowledge, iDwala was able to respond to the construction contractor with regards to design clarifications, site processes and methodologies. Providing this level of technical support on behalf of Council gave Mitchell Shire Council project manager the confidence they needed to ensure the project would be completed to the highest standard of finish whils meeting the governing sporting body requirements.
