iDwala was awarded the contract to construct three new complaint netball courts and supporting infrastructure by Swan Hill Rural City Council as part of a netball precinct in Riverside Park, the home of the Robinvale Eustace Football Netball Club.
iDwala worked in close consultation with Swan Hill Rural City Council, Robinvale Euston Football Club and other project stakeholders to deliver a new netball precinct, that would replace the old courts which the Riverside Park User Group had identified as requiring urgent repair or replacement.
iDwala project managed the netball precinct transformation including building the three new Netball Victoria compliant courts, as well as shelters, spectator viewing, and pedestrian footpaths around the courts. The courts were surfaced using Australian made Laykold Advantage which offers superior slip resistance and improved force reduction. The result was sturdier, all-weather netball courts for players to enjoy all year round. The lighting was contracted to SES Lighting and Andrew Glenn Fencing were consulted with design and implementing the fencing.
The new courts were ready for use in April 2021 and officially opened in May 2022 with Robinvale Euston Football and Netball Club President, Phil Lamattina remarking, “These courts are well worth the effort. The players deserve them and so does the town”. The new courts are sure to become a valuable asset to the club and the wider community for many years to come, and a project iDwala is proud to have been involved with.
